Real estate in Bilaspur
It is a promising city as the builder activity is quite intense and investor interest is palpable here. The real estate analysts and property watchers believe that it could be the next big thing as Bilaspur is growing at quite a fast rate. This is a welcome development for those who somehow were unable to invest in Shimla. In fact its location is its biggest advantage as it is located in the Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh. Bilaspur location can be aptly described as the one in the center of string of pearls as it is close to New Delhi, Chandigarh, Manali and Amritsar, and just 200 km from the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla , which means that it is lying in between best of real estate markets of India. No wonders then that Bilaspur is considered a Priority Town or Regional Center of the National Capital Region. The industrial sector is robust, churning out jobs for the hopefuls and real estate sector is in an unbeatable mood as the job market drives the property market here with aplomb. The infrastructure so far is just modest, which is reasonable considering its lower status among heavy weights, but it is bound to change soon. The city came into being in 1975-76 yet the spotlight has, so far, always been on Shimla and other touristic attraction cities of Himachal Pradesh. But the scenario is changing at a faster rate all thanks to the Chandigarh - Manali road, and the real estate area.
