Haflong is a town and headquarters of Dima Hasao district in India in the state of Assam.According to some old people Haflong was given a name by the British, Half-Longto indicate half way from kamrup. Haflong hillstation is known for itsbeautiful landscapes, valleys, hills and mountains. Commonly spoken languagesare Haflong Hindi,  Bengali, Assamese, and Nepali. Haflong lake is a beautiful lakelocated at the heart of the haflong town (1683ft) hanging bridge overpasses, aperfect spot to hauls the best profile picture. Haflong Lake is one of the mostcharming and the only tourist hill destination in this northeastern IndianState of Assam.
