Nalbari is city and a municipal board, in Nalbari district in the state of Assam India. Nalbari was declared a sub division of undivided kamarup district in 1967. In the early part of the twenties a railway station of the assam – Bengal railway company established here.  Nalbari district has many school and college here According to the 2011 census Nalbari district has a population of 7,69,919. Nalbari is a great city to visit in the state of assam, however all facilities are available here. Nalbari is well connected to bus, air and train.
