North West Delhi is an administrative district of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in India. North west delhi bounded by the Yamuna river on the northeast, and by districts of north delhi to the east and southeast, Jhajjar District of Haryana state to the west, Sonipat District of Haryana to the northwest and north, and Ghaziabad District of Uttar Pradesh state to the northeast across the Yamuna. North West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 7 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in the Indian National Capital Territory of Delhi. This constituency came into existence in 2008 as a part of the implementation of the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted in 2002. This constituency is reserved for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled castes. In order to systematize the administration of north west Delhi.
